You may choose not to receive promotional communications from us and opt-out of such future communications. If you would like to discontinue receiving promotional communications and updates regarding WalkMe and its products and services, you may do so by using the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of the emails we send to you. In addition to these optional promotional communications, WalkMe may contact you via any email address you provide to us with transactional or relationship messages such as security updates or notifications of changes of this Privacy Policy or any other terms conditions relevant to your use of the Site, services and products. These types of transactional or relationship email messages are not promotional communications and cannot be opted out from.
B. Sharing Information Gathered Through The Site With Third Parties
We do not use or share your personal information with others except as described in this Privacy Policy. In certain circumstances, we will share your information with third parties with your consent, as necessary, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. We will never sell your personal information. Specifically, WalkMe shares personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- service providers and vendors which include: (i) data analytics providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our Site; (ii) security vendors; (iii) website hosting vendors, such as Amazon Web Services in the United States; (iv) third party marketing, analytics and technology partners (including advertising partners such as Google Analytics); and (iv) third parties, such as Intercom, Inc., that assist us in communicating with you, and Lever, Inc., for our internal recruitment purposes. These service providers assist us with many different functions and tasks, such as providing data storage, disaster recovery services and communicating with you;
- professional advisors, as necessary, such as auditors, law firms, or accounting firms;
- for legal and security reasons and to protect our services and business. We will share your personal data with regulators, law enforcement agencies, public authorities, or any other relevant organisations: (i) in response to a legal obligation; (ii) if we have determined that it is necessary to share your personal data to comply with applicable law or any obligations thereunder, including cooperation with law enforcement, judicial orders, and regulatory inquiries; (iii) to protect the interests of, and ensure the safety and security, of us, our users, a third party or the public; (iv) to exercise or defend legal claims; and (v) to enforce our terms and conditions, other applicable terms of service, or other agreements;
- our affiliates and companies within our corporate family; and
- in connection with an asset sale or purchase, a share sale, purchase or merger, bankruptcy, or other business transaction or re-organisation, in our legitimate interests. We will share your personal data with a prospective buyer, seller, new owner, or other relevant third party as necessary while negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control such as a restructuring, merger, or sale of our assets.
C. Tracking, Cookies & Passive Collection Through The Site
WalkMe, together with its service providers and partners, use certain monitoring and tracking technologies (such as cookies, beacons, pixels, tags and scripts). These technologies are used in order to maintain, provide and improve our Site on an ongoing basis, and in order to provide our Site Users with a better experience (for instance in order to track Site Users’ preferences, to identify technical issues and to monitor and improve the overall performance of our Site).
Please note that third-party services placing cookies or utilizing other tracking technologies on our Site (as noted below) may have their own policies regarding how they collect and store information. Such practices are not covered by our Privacy Policy. Cookies
In order for some of these technologies to work properly, a small data file (“cookie”) is stored on your device. By default, we use several persistent cookies for purposes of session authentication, monitoring performance of our services and generally providing and improving our Site.
A number of the cookies we use are strictly necessary in order to provide you with functionality that you request by using our Site. Where cookies are strictly necessary, you cannot block or delete them. However, there are other cookies which we use which are optional. WalkMe refers to such cookies as Advertising Cookies. In addition, as part of our marketing efforts we can engage third-party data brokers, for the purpose of data enrichment activities. Such activities include merging, combining and cross-referencing data from various sources available to third parties such as data brokers with the personal information collected through your use of the Site.

Beacons/Pixels
We and certain third-party services may employ a software technology called Web Beacons/Web Bugs or Pixels which enables them and us to improve our Site by measuring effectiveness and performance. Beacons/Pixels are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies.
“Do Not Track” Signals
Some web browsers may transmit Do Not Track signals to websites with which the browser communicates, telling the site not to follow its online movements. Because of differences in how web browsers interpret this feature, it is not always clear whether Site Users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they are even aware of them. Therefore, we currently do not respond to such Do Not Track signals.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include links to other online platforms, plug-ins or other applications operated by third parties. Be sure to read the privacy policies, supplemental notices, and settings of all websites or platforms that you visit so you can understand their privacy practices and your options. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Any information submitted by you directly to these third parties is subject to that third party’s privacy policy. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Our Site includes social media features (such as social media plugins) that are included on our Site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms, may also be viewable by other users of the Site and/or users of those third-party online platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party.
