A sprint’s worth of adoption guidance, built in an afternoon. A question about your data that gets a straight answer, not a spreadsheet to comb through. A workflow that already knows which SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow record you need, before you go looking for it. A course that used to take weeks to build, ready for learners by end of day.

Right now, most organizations aren’t there yet. WalkMe’s State of Digital Adoption 2026 found that employees lose 51 workdays a year to software and AI friction, and organizations capture only 55% of the potential value from their AI investments. That’s not a capability gap. It’s an adoption gap.

WalkMe’s Q3 ’26 product release closes more of that gap, and this time it starts with the people analyzing the workflows and building the guidance, not just the people using it. For builders and DAP Managers, that means AI that creates and edits content alongside you, and answers questions about your data instead of leaving you to dig through it yourself. For employees, it means contextual AI reaching further into the tools you already open every day. For learning teams, it means content that’s faster to create and easier to prove is working.

That’s the thread connecting everything in Q3 ’26. AI that doesn’t just guide the work. It builds it, reaches further into it, and proves it’s working.

In this release:

  • AI that builds and answers for you, so creating content and finding what you need only takes a conversation.
  • AI assistance that follows your teams into more of the tools they rely on, from new SAP data sources to native desktop apps.
  • Richer learning solutions that help learning teams create faster and prove it’s actually working.
  • Sharper controls for builders and admins, from version control to one-screen segment management, so scaling your program doesn’t mean losing track of it.

Meet the AI that investigates and builds with you

AI Authoring and AI Insights

Today, WalkMe announced new agentic AI experiences meant for WalkMe practitioners.

There’s a particular kind of friction every builder knows: the idea is clear, but getting it into the system takes far longer than it should. Every condition, every edit, every piece of CSS, typed out or clicked through, one step at a time.

AI Authoring changes that math. Describe what you want in plain language, and it builds it: generate images, edit CSS, extend existing content, even work on different parts of the same project as a teammate at the same time without stepping on each other.

AI Insights does the same for your data. Ask a question about workflow performance or program ROI in that same plain language, and get the answer back instantly: a chart, a widget, something you can save straight to a dashboard and actually trust, because every response traces back to the environment, system, and date range it came from.

It’s not a faster way to do the old work. It’s a different way to work.

Context, reaching further

Smart Highlights, Action Bar, and AI Chat

Smart Highlights already surfaces the data your team needs without a tab switch. Q3 pushes that further: two new source systems, SAP CX Sales Cloud and SAP Ariba, along with the ability to choose exactly which fields show up on every card.

The best AI doesn’t ask you to come find it. It’s already where you’re working, before you knew you needed it.

The Action Bar gets more customizable, too. Order and group your launchers the way your organization actually works, swap in your own icon, and now coming to beta, bring all of it into native desktop applications: Teams, Slack, Excel, Outlook, SAP GUI, and more.

AI Chat and AI Answers grow more capable alongside it. End users can attach a file directly in the conversation and get answers based on what’s actually in front of them, and AI Answers now pulls knowledge straight from SharePoint, kept current on whatever sync schedule you set.

Built for builders and admins

A redesigned Editor, real version control, and a smarter Console

Enterprise scale means more environments, more collaborators, more moving parts, and Q3 gives admins and builders sharper tools for all of it.

The Smart Walk-Thru map is completely redesigned: drag and drop, multi-select, bulk actions, and contextual toolbars built for editing at scale. Alongside it, version control finally arrives. View publish history, compare versions side by side, and restore an earlier one if you need to.

In the Console, a new Segment Manager lets builders create, edit, and publish user segments without ever opening the Editor, and Shared Saved Views keep teams working from the same filtered picture instead of rebuilding it every time. Insights adds permission-based dashboard access and filtering by folder or custom metadata, so the right people see the right data, and nothing else.

WalkMe Learning Arc: built to prove it’s working

AI image and infographic generation, learner interactivity, and learning analytics

Good training takes time to build, and even more time to tell whether it’s actually landing. WalkMe Learning Arc closes both gaps this quarter.

Authors can now generate on-brand images and infographics straight from a text prompt, no design team required. Flashcards, image hotspots, and accordions, authored by hand or drafted instantly by AI, turn dense lessons into bite-sized, active moments. And pre-assessments mean learners skip what they’ve already mastered instead of sitting through it again.

Building the content was never the hard part. Proving it worked, and fixing what didn’t, always was.

None of that matters if you can’t see whether it’s working. A new Learning Analytics dashboard brings engagement trends, compliance gaps, and content diagnostics into one place, with one-click reminders for anyone who hasn’t finished what’s assigned.
