Today at SAP Connect, together with SAP SuccessFactors, we announced an expanded integration between SAP SuccessFactors Learning and WalkMe Learning Arc. It gives learning teams a faster way to build courses with AI and a new way to reach employees: inside the applications they use every day.

The first step is available in Q4 2026. Authors build a course with AI and send it to SAP SuccessFactors Learning in one click. The course lands ready to publish, with no manual export and no re-upload.

WalkMe Learning Arc is an AI-native digital learning product for authoring training and delivering it in the flow of work. From a prompt and existing materials such as process documents, policies, and product content, AI builds a complete course with structure, content, images, infographics, quizzes, flashcards, and interactive elements like hotspots and accordions. Authors can also build microlearnings, short lessons on a single skill, and simulations that recreate the real application, so employees practice a task before they do it live. The product works across SAP and non-SAP applications and is also available on its own.

Built for the AI Era of Workforce Learning

“We are entering an era where AI is not a feature. It is the foundation. This integration brings together SAP SuccessFactors’ position as the AI-based system of record for workforce development and WalkMe’s AI-first course authoring and in-app delivery capabilities to give learning teams a fundamentally more powerful way to work.”— Siva Sundaresan, GM & CPO, SAP SuccessFactors

Learning teams manage a queue they never clear. Products launch, policies change, and compliance requirements shift, and every change can mean new or updated content. Most third-party authoring tools add AI to a manual build. AI writes a paragraph or suggests a quiz question, but a specialist still builds, exports, and uploads the course. When the content changes, the cycle starts again. And the course stops at the portal.

This integration changes that. AI-native authoring builds the full course from existing material, including interactive formats and simulations, not just text and slides. Courses move into SAP SuccessFactors Learning ready to publish, and learning runs inside the applications where employees work.

SAP SuccessFactors as the core learning platform. WalkMe Learning Arc as the AI-native content authoring and in-app delivery solution

SAP SuccessFactors Learning manages and tracks. WalkMe Learning Arc creates, updates, and delivers.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning remains the system of record for formal learning: the catalog, completions, compliance, and the link to talent processes. WalkMe Learning Arc, the AI-native authoring and in-app delivery solution, works alongside it, bringing learning and practice into SAP and non-SAP applications. That could be a microlearning alongside a new workflow, a simulation before a process change goes live, or a refresher where support is needed.

“WalkMe Learning Arc was built AI-native from day one. We didn’t add AI on top of an old learning model, we reimagined the entire experience around it. AI does the heavy lifting, turning company knowledge into incredible learning experiences in minutes.  And now, by bringing that directly into SAP SuccessFactors Learning, organizations can create, manage and scale their learning catalog faster than ever, while delivering learning exactly where employees need it, inside the applications where work actually happens. This is a completely different way to think about enterprise learning.” — Dan Adika, CEO, WalkMe

With this integration, organizations can:

  • Go from idea to finished course. AI generates the structure, content, images, infographics, quizzes, and interactive elements from a prompt and source material. The author reviews, refines, and approves.
  • Put existing knowledge to work. AI turns process documents, policies, and product materials into structured courses, so authors never start from a blank page.
  • Build confidence before go-live. AI creates microlearnings and simulations of real applications, so employees rehearse a task before they perform it.
  • Publish without the busywork. Courses move into SAP SuccessFactors Learning in one click, with no manual export or re-upload, and land ready to publish.
  • Keep pace with change. When a product launches or a policy changes, the author edits the course and sends the update in one click, so learning teams respond in hours, not weeks.

Coming in 2027:

Create where learning already lives. The AI authoring experience of WalkMe Learning Arc will be embedded directly in SAP SuccessFactors Learning, so authors build courses where they are already managed, without switching tools.

  • Put every course where the work happens. Authored courses, along with the rest of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning library, will surface inside the applications employees use every day, at the moment they need them.
