According to our 2022-2023 State of Digital Adoption report, 67% of enterprises are under immense pressure to accelerate digital transformation

Business leaders know that investing in technology that aligns with organizational needs, vision, and activities is not an easy feat. On top of that, there is the challenge of getting employees up to speed with new systems and processes as well as providing ongoing support.

So, what are some possible solutions?

Data-driven business decisions

Leading research and consulting firm, Gartner®, recently released a Digital Workplace Innovation Impact Matrix to help business leaders streamline decision-making on technology investments. This tool outlines a range of parameters correlating to a wide scope of business initiatives. Overall, the Matrix provides high-level insights to key decision makers who seek credible intelligence on business-driven technologies and innovations.

In the matrix, Gartner® classifies digital innovation tools based on three main metrics – business value, feasibility, and organizational ambition. Digital Adoption Solutions are listed as a core ambition to a digital strategy, ranking as a leading technology based on business value and feasibility.

The value of Digital Adoption Solutions

Gartner® categorizes Digital Adoption Solutions as a core element of workplace infrastructure modernization. They are rated as having “very high” business value for employee effectiveness and digital dexterity.

These solutions are further determined as having “high” business value for employee engagement, talent attraction and retention, and enabling remote work. In addition, the matrix rates Digital Adoption Solutions as having high feasibility for both technological maturity and organizational feasibility.

The report specifically identifies them as being helpful for enabling new ways of working as well as employee adoption, both of which are critical elements to digital transformation.
