Venture capitalist firm Battery Ventures and job and recruiting marketplace Glassdoor have joined forces to highlight the cloud companies where employees report enjoying the highest levels of work satisfaction. This joint project came to be the “50 Highest Rated Private Cloud Computing Companies to Work for” list. All of the selected companies are growth stage startups that employ at least 200 people, and are B2B focused. The selection process also included employee satisfaction ratings on Glassdoor, how employees rated the CEOs of these companies, and their outlook on the business’s future. Business Insider narrowed the list even more, to the 18 cloud companies that had a 90% or higher approval of the CEO, and where at least 90% of employees say they think the company is going in the right direction. We’re happy to have been ranked at number 3 with an overall company rating of 4.9 out of 5, a 98% approval rating for the CEO, and a 93% positive business outlook rating. In the age of cloud tech, having a great product is great, but it’s not enough. At WalkMe, we are firm believers in maintaining company culture, even while experiencing rapid growth. In an article posted last year, WalkMe’s CEO Dan Adika wrote: “When my company, WalkMe, grew from 40 to 150 people within a year and a half, I knew that I didn’t want the “growth rings” of my company to “grow abnormally thick. I saw a need to maintain a close-knit startup culture in order to nurture the very things that made my company successful in the first place — these things included my staff, company culture, traditions and values. In order to keep WalkMe’s structural integrity intact, we implemented changes in the way we connected so that our 150-person team feels just as close as when the company first started.” He also listed recognizing employee contribution, maintaining staller hiring standards, preserving company traditions and encouraging an open-door policy as 4 important guidelines to successfully keeping company culture alive. We are happy to see that even now, with 300 employees globally, we still successfully keep our employees happy, and maintain that sense of “family” we had four years ago.
