Lirit Tsimerman, VP of Deal Desk (Sales)
When I joined WalkMe as Director of the Commercial Desk, I wasn’t looking to just manage a team, I wanted to build something from the ground up. My first months were all about rolling up my sleeves: learning how the desk supported Sales, where the bottlenecks were, and where we could do better. I’ve always believed the best way to lead is to understand the work firsthand, so that’s exactly what I did.

From vision to reality
Two years in, I started putting my vision into action. We introduced a quoting tool (CPQ), stood up a dedicated Order Management team, and drew a clear line between OM and Deal Desk responsibilities. Together, we mapped the entire Quote-to-Cash process, built cross-departmental collaboration, and created a workflow that finally felt like it worked for Sales instead of against them.
As WalkMe grew, so did my role. I led process innovation, supported global operations, and worked to bring different teams around shared goals. Recently, I was promoted to Vice President, something I see not just as recognition of my growth but of the trust WalkMe has shown me throughout this journey.
Redefining revenue operations
One of the milestones I’m most proud of has been building two high-performing teams, Deal Desk and Order Management, from scratch. Today, they’re not only trusted advisors to Sales but also key collaborators with Legal, Rev Rec, Billing, and Collections.
It wasn’t always that way. When I started, Sales was hesitant to approach Deal Desk. Fast forward a few years, and we’ve become their go-to team, even for questions outside our direct scope. That shift, from avoidance to confidence, is one of my proudest achievements.
A standout project was creating the Order Management team. By separating its role from Deal Desk, hiring the right people, and designing a seamless handoff, we brought clarity, balance, and focus to our operations. Both teams are thriving today in their own lanes.
A culture that trusts you to dream big
From day one, I felt empowered to take big swings and make meaningful change. Even when change came with growing pains, I was trusted, heard, and supported.
That support extended outside of work too. Over these years, I’ve not only grown professionally but also built a family. WalkMe’s people-first culture and commitment to work-life balance made that possible.
What keeps me going
The people. The pace. The possibility. Every day brings something new, and that momentum is energizing. We’re always pushing forward, adopting new technologies like AI, optimizing processes, and finding smarter, faster ways to work.
One of our values, Act with Empathy, resonates deeply with me. It’s not just a phrase on a wall, it’s how we collaborate, lead, and show up for one another as colleagues and as people.
Looking back
How would I summarize my WalkMe journey? There is no better place to learn, dream, achieve, and develop.
The trust I’ve been given, the freedom to grow, and the amazing people I work with every day make this place special. It’s never boring, we’re always evolving, and that momentum keeps me motivated.
