What is the WalkMe Digital Adoption Fellowship?

The WalkMe Digital Adoption Fellowship is a paid fellowship for diverse individuals from underrepresented communities. The fellowship provides WalkMe certification via the Digital Adoption Institute (DAI) and on-the-job training opportunities in the form of externships at non-profit customer organizations.

The fellowship consists of two tracks: technical and operational. Fellows will spend the first 3 months of the experience learning and gaining certification based on their chosen track from the DAI. Then they spend the following 3 months gaining real world experience at non-profit customer organizations with a dedicated mentor.

  • When is the application deadline?
    The deadline for the next round of applications is May 6, 2022.
  • Who can apply?
    Anyone 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED at the time of application may apply. There are no additional prerequisites needed to apply.
  • What is the time commitment?
    The Fellowship will begin with coursework in June 2022 with the on-job experience beginning in September and concluding at the end of December 2022. Fellows should plan to commit a minimum of 5-6 hours per week during the 6 month time commitment.

  • What is the difference between the Technical and
    Operational Fellowships?

    Both Fellowships include coursework that will result in Intermediate and Advanced Certifications.

    The Technical Fellowship is designed for individuals who are interested in being hands on with building digital adoption solutions. This track is ideal for those interested in using technology to make digital processes faster and more efficient for users, UX design and product adoption.

    The Operational Fellowship is designed for individuals that are interested in managing digital adoption projects over time. This track is ideal for those interested in how to plan and develop digital adoption projects to solve organizational issues, evaluate their performance over time and impact an organization’s bottom line.
