Today we’re happy to announce, together with the Wake County Economic Development (WCED) and the City of Raleigh Office of Economic, the establishment of WalkMe Raleigh, our regional headquarters in Raleigh, with plans to create hundreds of jobs in Wake County over the next few years.<\/p>\r\n

First was San Francisco, then New York City. We have now set roots in\u00a0downtown Raleigh, which hosts 500+ startups, including some of the biggest players in the software industry.<\/p>\r\n

We\u00a0chose to establish our\u00a0regional headquarters in Raleigh because we identified Wake County as a leading tech hub in the Southeast, with a high number of skilled people who can join WalkMe’s success<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

WalkMe Raleigh will also serve as the Global Center of\u00a0Excellence and Support for the recently launched WalkMe Apps<\/a> – a new and free way for App Developers to create better mobile software, faster.\u00a0 WalkMe Apps is a brand new solution solving some of the toughest challenges that independent mobile app developers face.<\/p>\r\n

Raleigh is the second most educated city in the U.S.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\r\n

$1.1 BILLION in IPOs in the last five years 500+ startups, creating 2,500 jobs<\/em><\/p>\r\n

10 colleges and universities, three are tier-one research universities<\/em><\/p>\r\n

\u201cWake County is quickly emerging as the leading tech hub in the southeast,\u201d said WCED Executive Director Adrienne Cole. \u201cRaleigh experienced the fastest growth in IT jobs in the country last year, and WalkMe\u2019s decision to locate in Raleigh will add to this sector\u2019s continued growth.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

“We are excited to have WalkMe, a cutting edge global software company, choose Raleigh as one of five worldwide corporate locations,\u201d said the City of Raleigh\u2019s innovation and entrepreneurship manager, Derrick Minor. \u201cThis further solidifies Raleigh as a leading destination for top talent and innovative companies, and we look forward to having them grow with us into the future.”<\/p>\r\n

The decision to open a regional headquarters\u00a0in Raleigh resulted from months of ongoing collaboration between WalkMe and Wake County Economic Development (WCED)<\/a>, the City of Raleigh Office of Economic Development<\/a>, Capital Area Workforce Development Board (CAWDB)<\/a>, the NC Community College System<\/a>, NC State University<\/a>, and the Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP)<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

We have big plans for 2016 and beyond, and we have plenty of positions open for smart people who share our passion.<\/p>\r\n
