    To Soqqle<\/a> founder Daniel Shen<\/a>, these are the \u201cthree pillars of 21st-century skills.\u201d<\/p>\n

    How do you enforce these pillars? You \u201cdrive the need for employees to accept that learning is a life-long experience<\/a> and not a one-off activity,\u201d says Shen.<\/p>\n

    2. It\u2019s the dawn of remote workers<\/h2>\n

    Remote work is gaining momentum.<\/p>\n

      Alex Robinson, HR Manager of Team Building Hero<\/a>, says his \u201cpriority\u201d for 2019 is to help his team \u201cdevelop and build their skills as people.\u201d<\/p>\n

      \u201cWe want to invest in helping our employees develop their emotional intelligence, conflict resolution abilities, public speaking and more,\u201d he says. \u201cThough these are generally considered people skills, we\u2019ve found they are critical for success in a digital workforce. For example: keeping healthy relationships between team members that only meet over video calls is very important, and you can do this by improving communication skills.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n

      4. Today\u2019s employees need improved on-the-job training<\/h2>\n

      Katy Caselli<\/a>, Organizational Psychologist, Author, HR Expert and Workforce Development Expert of Building Giants<\/a> says, true, organizations are updating initiatives to become more digital.<\/p>\n
