Otherwise, broken processes, siloed data, and poor experiences will continue to afflict the talent acquisition process.\n<h3>3. His talk was jam-packed with facts and statistics about the current state of the American workplace, and how companies can use emerging tech to improve.\n\nThe statistics Bersin presented painted a bleak picture of the current work environment:\n<ul>\n \t<li>More than 80% of all companies rate their business as \u201chighly complex\u201d or \u201ccomplex\u201d for employees.<\/li>\n \t<li>Fewer than 16% of companies have a program to \u201csimplify work\u201d or help employees deal with stress.<\/li>\n \t<li>40% of the U.S. population believes it\u2019s impossible to succeed at work and have a balanced family life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nMore effective <a href=\"https:\/\/www.walkme.com\/blog\/continuous-employee-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talent management and development<\/a> is essential to creating a better future for employees.\n\nAccording to Bersin, emerging HR tech, particularly those driven by AI and data analytics, can be used to promote greater engagement, optimize productivity, and provide personalized support to help improve employees\u2019 work lives.\n\nSuch tools also enable continuous sensing, or constantly checking on and addressing employee needs.
